Let's see what he said to Entertainment Weekly during the interview when asked about Star Wars: Episode 7:
Yakface went on a bit into more detail:
If you've watched the NBC television series "Heroes" then you probably know a bit about Greg Grunberg who stars in the show as Matt Parkman. Last week he confirmed on Twitter that he will make a cameo appearance in Episode VII. This is not surprising at all, considering that Grunberg and J.J. Abrams are childhood friends and he briefly appeared on most of Abrams’ projects. In fact if you look at another Abrams movie such as Star Trek (2009) you'll notice that it’s Grunberg’s voice scolding the young Jim Kirk as he races away in his step-father’s car at the beginning of the film. Apparently, Abrams considers Greg as a good luck charm and loves to give him a cameo appearance whenever possible.
We're not sure what else to add on this - take the news for granted and try to get whatever you can out if!
Alright, this is probably the strangest subheading you've read in a long while, but it is actually a potentially huge bit of Star Wars 7 news that might end some debates and crush certain rumors. Namely, have a look at the photo below:
It looks like a simple joke, but we're interested in the table - not the paper itself. You see, the light patterns that you can see in the table's reflection are identical to the wall decorations from the original Death Star:
Does this mean that the Death Star is back? I personally don't believe in this. I just think this means that the Empire still exists and that they plan on using the same elements to decorate Imperial ships and facilities.
The posthumous presence of Neeson’s Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn was felt in Attack of the Clones during Anakin’s massacre of the Sandpeople, and at the end of Revenge of the Sith Yoda told of Qui-Gon’s discovery of immortality. So, could we see Neeson returning as a Force Ghost alongside Yoda? No, or at least not in Episode VII according to the actor. In a recent video interview that Neeson did he said that he honestly doesn't know much about Star Wars 7 and that thinks that this is not Qui Gon's story. However, he did entertain the thought of playing Qui Gon once again and noted that he "wouldn't have anyone else playing Qui-Gon Jinn's role".
We'll that's all that we have for today as far as Star Wars 7 news and rumors are concerned. So far there haven't been a lot of leaks, but everything we've seen seems to point towards the fact the Empire still exists. This the basis of many theories and as such we'd hope that it stays that way.

Anthony Daniels Interview about Rebels and Star Wars 7
A few days ago, the legendary actor Anthony Daniels spoke with Entertainment Weekly who were eager to discus his new role in the upcoming series Star Wars: Rebels, but like any good journalists they also wanted to get some info on his other important project - Star Wars Episode VII. While the new animated show is going to be on Disney XD in October, everyone is more thrilled about seeing C-3PO on the big screens in December 2015. As expected, he was thrilled to be involved in both projects - but the fact that he'll revisit his role on the big screen is certainly of monumental importance to Anthony.UPDATE: Check out the leaked photos of the new X-Wing and Millennium Falcon!
Let's see what he said to Entertainment Weekly during the interview when asked about Star Wars: Episode 7:
I will tell you that when [director] J.J. Abrams rang me to ask about filming Episode VII, one of the first things he said after he told me how wonderful I was — and that didn’t take long — but he then said, “Would you be interested in being in the film just doing the voice?” I said, “No,” and he said, “Right!” He knew I’d say that. There’s no way I would just do the voice. I also said that it can’t be the same suit. I will tell you that the team then got together and built a new suit. They made an entirely new look-a-like with changes that you will never notice [on screen] that made my life a lot easier. I can get it on and off very quickly.
Having been in the studio today [shooting Episode VII], I’m actually quite tired because C-3PO is an exhausting character — he’s always very tense, he’s always slightly on the edge of panic. That’s why he’s funny, because he’s always in the wrong place. I record each piece three times in a row, so the director can choose without interrupting too much. I’m actually looking right now at one of the art renditions for Rebels because C-3PO is newly designed and gives him a really nice look.
Star Wars 7 Toys are Officially In Development
Believe or not, but the toy manufacturer Hasbro is probably the most reliable source to get leaks and news about the upcoming movie. They are the ones who have to plan and develop Star Wars toys and as such they need to know the full schedule in advance. When their memo was leaked we first learned about the possible release dates of the movies as well as the possibility that there might be a couple of spin-off movies in between episodes. This time, the news isn't as juicy, but at least it is somewhat reliable because it comes directly from the official Star Wars YouTube account. Their new behind the scenes video focused on how Star Wars toys were designed and created, but it also shed some light about the toys that will be made for the upcoming new movie.Yakface went on a bit into more detail:
Looks like product development at Hasbro for Episode VII is in full swing as seen above in this screen shot from the Speeder Bike development video release earlier today. While nothing is spoiled in terms of character name, you can see that is a product labeled “SW E7 secondary hero battler”.
It goes without saying (but I will anyway) that Hasbro has been in “Episode VII mode” for a while now, the purpose of the post is to show the actual, observable “proof” that development has commenced.
A Cameo "Hero" Confirms His Appearance

Qui Gon Jinn Won't be a Part of the New Trilogy
Most of you would wonder - why would Qui Gon Jinn be part of a trilogy that takes place roughly three generations after his time of death. This is a valid question, but over time Qui Gon became something of a fan-favorite and his character is regarded as one of the better aspects of Episode I.The posthumous presence of Neeson’s Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn was felt in Attack of the Clones during Anakin’s massacre of the Sandpeople, and at the end of Revenge of the Sith Yoda told of Qui-Gon’s discovery of immortality. Adam Driver in Rebel Pilot Outfit
The actor who got famous due to his performance in hit TV show Gossip was recently spotted near Pinewood Studios wearing a Rebel Pilot outfit. Many thought that he might be cast as a the main villain in the show based on previous leaks, but this appears not to be the case. However, he could still be an undercover bad guy so let's not jump to conclusions! :)Adam Driver, a Rebel Pilot? |
