Harrison Ford Finally Recovering from Surgery

Originally we were told that Harrison Ford's unfortunate accident at the set will not set the production of Star Wars Episode 7 backwards. While this may be true, it is a fact that Harrison Ford has been out of the studio for quite a while and he had to go through surgery. Luckily, we now have good news - mister Ford is finally recovering and he will be joining the Star Wars 7 production team soon enough. Someone was even able to get a sneaky paparazzo photo of him while he was eating a sandwich at Whole Foods.

As you can see Harrison Ford is doing quite alright: he is out of the hospital and he can walk on his own now. But don't take just our word for it - Disney and Lucasfilm also had an announcement to make for the fans:
"Harrison is doing well and is looking forward to returning to the set soon," Disney and Lucasfilm announced in a statement at the time of his injury.
Unfortunetly, they've also admitted that this injury set them back a bit and that Abrams had to reschedule everything. As a result, the acting crew will be taking a two-week break in August so that the schedule can return to normal. During this time the production team will work with Harrison Ford to film the scenes involving Han Solo that were supposed to be filmed before the injury.

Lucasfilm representatives went on record:
"In August, the team will take a brief two-week hiatus while adjustments to the current production schedule are made as actor Harrison Ford recovers from a leg injury. "...Shooting remains on track to wrap in the fall with the film scheduled for release on December 18, 2015."
